Your personal context should not be trapped inside one AI.
A long-term Personal AI vision requires more than intelligence. It requires a way for users to carry approved memory, knowledge, preferences and decisions between models, applications, agents and devices.
How portable memory could work
A practical architecture separates the person's memory from the AI system consuming it. A request can identify the task, retrieve relevant approved context, pass only that bounded context to the selected model or agent, and optionally return the outcome for the person to review or remember.
Why portability matters
AI models will continue to evolve. People may use different models for writing, coding, research, planning and physical tasks. If personal context is locked into each application, users repeatedly rebuild the same history. A portable context layer could make the relationship with personal AI more durable.
What could be portable?
- Preferences and communication style
- Projects, goals and ongoing work
- Selected people and relationship context
- Decisions, reasons, outcomes and lessons
- Approved routines and task instructions
- Structured memories needed by a particular agent or device
Portability does not mean unlimited access.
The important architecture is permissioned portability. A model or robot should receive only the context necessary for its task. Users should be able to control access, revoke it, audit it and decide what becomes long-term memory.
Dusra Brain's long-term thesis
Dusra Brain can be thought of as a personal context layer between the human and an increasingly diverse AI ecosystem. The opportunity is to preserve continuity while models, apps and devices change.
